CES 2013 - We've been hearing rumors for a while, but now is the time for Huawei to officially take wraps off of two of their new smartphones. The first of which looks like a Samsung Galaxy Note II competitor, which is the Ascend Mate.

Huawei's Ascend Mate sports a 6.1-inch screen and is being pushed as the ultimate all-in-one device, with a screen that is large, yet still portable. Huawei are pushing that it will replace a notebook, phone and camera with one great device.

Huawei's second announcement was the Ascend D2 which sports a 5-inch 443ppi display. A 13-megapixel rear-facing camera is on offer here, with a huge 3000mAh battery which reportedly offers up to two days battery life - now that is a kick ass feature right there!
