IBM Bodes Farewell to OS/2
Although IBM's OS/2 isn't exactly a household name, it has been around for quite some time. IBM has continued to upgrade the capabilities of this server-based operating system, but has finally decided to call it quits.
A notice posted yesterday by IBM said that on the 12th of March 2003, IBM will stop marketing OS/2 Warp V4 and Warp Server for e-business programs.More information @ The Inquirer
Program services will be available until December 31st, 2004.
