Snapchat adds the ability to send video as a snap

Snapchat gets the ability to send videos that self-destruct

| Apps News | Posted: Dec 14, 2012 9:29 pm

The app that the creators swear isn't for sexting has just gotten the ability to send video. That's right, Snapchat, the app that allows you to send a picture which is self-destructed after a set time period can now send videos that do the same. If you've captured an embarrassing video, now you can send it without risk of it getting on Facebook.

The new version of Snapchat is available for free on the iTunes App Store. It allows each video clip to be viewed once, and each clip can be up to 10 seconds. While we still don't recommend using it for sexting, we're sure somebody will, and we'll wait for the moment that something embarrassing happens so we can write about it.
