A poll shows that nearly no one wants to buy Microsoft's Windows 8 RT tablet known as the Surface RT. Not only is the pricing too high, by some people's opinions, consumers aren't nearly as educated on the product and its capabilities. A poll conducted by Ipsos for Thomson Reuters last week has the hard numbers.
Only 4 percent of US people interested in buying a tablet were even considering a Surface RT. Compared with 42 percent who were interested in an iPad mini and 16 percent who were looking at a Kindle Fire, you can really see the problem that Microsoft has on its hands. 14 percent were interested in a Samsung Galaxy tablet.
