Wii Fit U to come in early 2013, will feature pack-in pedometer to enable better tracking

Nintendo coming out with Wii Fit U in first half 2013, will come with portable pedometer

Fans of the Wii Fit series will be happy to hear that Nintendo is planning on continuing it with the release of the Wii Fit U in the first half of 2013. A clean-cut date has not been provided by Nintendo, though we do have a couple of details that have been provided. Details we think you'll like to read.

The new Wii Fit U game will come with a pedometer, dubbed the Fit Meter, which will be able to be taken with a user during the day to record movement data. This information can then be transferred to the Wii U console and used in more than 77 game-based activities. It's nice to see the data collection expanding beyond just what you can gather in front of the TV.
