Wow. BGR author Jonathan Geller sent in his iPhone 5 and had the company deck it out in gold--classy. For the small cost of another iPhone, $249 in other words, you can get your iPhone 5 tinted to a different color. An iPad mini can also be done and will set you back $299.

I definitely think I will see about getting my iPhone 5 done as this black is just a bit boring and not flashy enough for my tastes. If/when I get it done, I'll report on the quality of the product. Until then, it looks like quite the deal, considering Colorware charges a price in the neighborhood of $850.
