HTC One X international models - get ready for Jelly Bean rollouts!
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AADo you own the international version of HTC's One X smartphone? Well, you might want to wait patiently by your smartphone for an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
HTC is doing things a little differently, though, instead of pushing the updates to all phones in a particular region, HTC push the updates out to certain devices based on their CID (Customer ID) in each region.
This means that for phones with a CID of htc__612 are sold in Taiwan, they started receiving their OTA update last night. HTC have said that all One X smartphones in Asia and Europe are getting updates "rolling out now".
