Intel Processor Price Drop next week

| CPUs, Chipsets & SoCs News | Posted: Nov 13, 2002 5:14 pm

Processor prices from AMD and Intel continue to seesaw as we see news posted at Warp2Search of an Intel processor price drop as of early next week in line with the release of the companies 3.06GHz part, which is due for release within the next 24 hours. Topping the list is the 2.6GHz Pentium 4 which will decrease in price by 24% from US $401 to $305 with the Celeron 1.4GHz part dropping a massive 27%. This is sure to put the heat back onto AMD in this value sector of the market.
