New Lightning connector adapters hit the Apple store, allow your iPad mini to do more

Apple has announced and released a few more Lightning connector adapters so as to allow you to do more with the newly announced iPad 4G and iPad mini. For instance, they added a Lightning to HDMI adapter that will allow users to watch videos from their iPad on a larger screen, which is especially useful if you buy the now-miniaturized iPad.

Other adapters include Lightning to VGA, Lightning to SD, and Lightning to USB. They have also released other accessories for the iPad mini. The new iPad mini will get its own version of the Smart Cover, which will offer the same features as its larger and older brother. It is available for the same price and in six different colors.

The Lightning to HDMI and Lightning to VGA cables will set you back $49, which is a bit higher than the previous versions that utilized the 30-pin connector. They are priced at $39 and $29, respectively. The Lightning to USB and Lightning to SD adapters were announced, but have not yet shown up online. A leaked SKU suggests they will set a purchaser back $29 a piece.
