Judge bans VIA P4 chipsets in Germany
The Inquirer has a story reporting that a Dusseldorf judge ruled that VIA chipsets that work with the Pentium 4 processor cannot be sold or imported into Germany. As expected, VIA will appeal, keeping lawyers grinning.
Bloomberg later quoted Via CEO Wenchi Chen, speaking at a press conference in Taiwan, as saying that it will appeal against the decision by a Dusseldorf court, and other patent cases in Germany are still not resolved.More information @ The Inquirer
