Obsidian Entertainment are a pretty damn amazing developer, pushing out titles such as Neverwinter Nights 2, Fallout: New Vegas, and when they were known as Black Isle Studios, games like Fallout 2, Planetscape: Torment, and Icewind Dale.

Their latest project has reached crowdfunding site Kickstarter, and has a working title of "Project Eternity". Project Eternity is being lead by some huge game designers such as Chris Avellone, Tim Cain and Josh Sawyer. Project Eternity aims to, according to their Kickstarter page "recapture the magic, imagination, depth, and nostalgia of classic RPGs that we enjoyed making - and playing."

The game has already reached over $830,000 in funding, and has 31 days to reach its $1.1 million goal. They've even had two people pledge an amazing $10,000 as well as three backers taking out the $5,000 pledges.
