Universal Studios Japan dons Resident Evil theme for its annual Halloween Horror Nights event
Resident Evil fan? Might want to book some tickets to Japan, as Universal Studios Japan are turning their theme park into a live action replica of Raccoon City, the fictional city from the Resident Evil series of games for their annual Halloween Horror Nights event.

Where the Cyberdyne building from the park's Terminator 2 attraction usually sits, has been remodeled as the Umbrella corporate HQ. Props and projection techniques have been used that turn the usually New York street set into the Raccoon City ruins. There will be actors on-hand to guie tourists through the attractions, playing characters from the series such as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.
The Resident Evil experience opens this Friday and runs each night through to November 11, which will engulf the worldwide launch of Resident Evil 6 on October 2nd, the Halloween holiday, and you could even include the recently-launched Resident Evil: Retribution movie, too.
