iPhone 5 introduces new connector as rumored

The iPhone 5 introduces a new dock connector which is called Lightning, "so we have Thunderbolt and Lightning." It's all-digital, 8-signal design, reversible, 80& smaller. Apple is working on an adapter so older 30-pin connector can be used.
"So a lot has changed, and it's time for the connector to evolve. Our new connector is called Lightning. So we have Thunderbolt and Lightning."
