Apple adds LTE 4G to iPhone 5, catches up with many Android smart devices

Apple just confirmed the name of the new phone as the iPhone 5 and now as they get through the presentation this morning in San Francisco, more announcements come to the table.

As expected by rumors over the past weeks and months, the iPhone 5 comes with Ultrafast Wireless. That is Apple's name for LTE or 4G. This is just Apple just catching up to many of the Samsung devices that have LTE. I recall Samsung saying or at least rumors stating that if Apple come out with an LTE device, they will sue them immediately.

Besides just LTE for super-fast Internet access, now there is new Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz and 5GHz 802.11n bands.

This should be interesting with the whole Samsung thing.

Thanks The Verge and Engadget.
