With Nokia's press conference just a few hours away, people are continuing to leak their plans, both for what will be shown off today and what is in the works for the future. Today's piece of news comes from the latter category. We have what appears to be a render of an upcoming Windows Phone 8 smartphone by Nokia.

The device in question is codenamed "Zeal" and will be destined to be a mid-range phone. The device is expected to make an appearance sometime in early 2013. It features a 1.0GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, and 8 GB of storage. All of this is hidden behind a 4.3-inch display, resolution unknown at this time.

The device is said to have an appearance somewhat similar to the Zune, so if you're a Zune fan, this phone could very well be the phone for you. The cost will likely be $100-200 if purchased with a contract renewal.
