RumorTT: Motorola's next flagship smartphone to sport edge-to-edge screen

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Sep 3, 2012 10:25 am

We heard about the Motorola/Intel event for September 18, with the tag 'let's take you to the edge', and this is now making more sense with news of an edge-to-edge screen on an upcoming Moto handset.

The new phone is said to be powered by Google's Android processor, and sport the above-mentioned edge-to-edge screen. This would make Motorola one of the first handset makers in the US to release a full-screen phone.

A smartphone without the bezel on the sides will look not only bigger, but much more swish with no big borders around the side. It should also work on 4G LTE networks, so speed shouldn't be an issue.
