Samsung beats Nokia to the party, outs Windows Phone 8 device first
It looks as though Samsung has stolen some of Nokia's and Microsoft's thunder by announcing a Windows Phone 8 device at IFA before Nokia managed to at their September 5 press conference in New York. Samsung, the world's largest smartphone developer, has returned to Windows Phone and brought with it some stylish design.

Looking at the picture above, I see "iPhone...lawsuit" written all over the design. In my opinion, this phone looks closer to an iPhone than the Epic 4g which was found to infringe. It's interesting that Samsung would want to design something so close to an iPhone when they just lost $1 billion to Apple over exactly the same thing.
Lawsuits aside, the device features a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display which is protected by Gorilla Glass on both sides. The dimensions come in at 137.2x70.5x8.7mm, so the device is quite easy on the pocket. Curiously enough, Nokia doesn't seem bitter. Instead, they were seen outside the IFA building welcoming Samsung back to Windows Phone:
