Verizon Galaxy Nexus receives pre-release version of Jelly Bean from Google
If you're an owner of a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, listen up. If you want to jump over to Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, now is your time. It's not an official over-the-air (OTA) update, but if you like living your mobile OS life on the edge, you can upgrade to Jelly Bean.
Android Central reports from their forums, where member 'dmmarck' has posted an end-to-end guide on throwing your phone into the can of jelly beans. There are some steps you'll need to do first, which involve going back to stock, unlocking the device, and flashing it, too.
