As the September 12 Apple press event draws ever nearer, the leaks continue to increase. A picture has been leaked that purportedly shows the new USB cable that will be used with Apple's new smaller dock connector. This is the first time that we've seen a leak of the cable itself, though we've seen lots of leaks regarding the connector itself.

It's expected that Apple will update its entire line-up of products to make use of this new dock connector at the Apple press conference on September 12. This new cable features only 9 pins, which is a massive reduction from the previous dock connector's 30. Have no fear about compatibility, though, as it is said they will ship with an adapter for current accessories.
