LG's Optimus Vu 'phablet' to reach US shores in September
LG have something to feel life is good over, announcing that the phablet device, Optimus Vu, has passed 500,000 unit sales in South Korea. The company took the time to unveil their plans to launch an LTE-powered Vu in the US.

LG's LTE-rocking Optimus Vu should arrive in the US before the end of Q3, presumably, sometime in late-September, at the latest. LG haven't said which US carrier will have the Optimus Vu, but the current rumbles are that Verizon will do it.
Leaked shots have also teased toward a Verizon-branded Optimus Vu, giving more credit to Verizon taking on the Vu. LG's Optimus Vu should drop with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 5-inch display with a 1024x768 display (4:3 aspect ratio), a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera and 32GB of internal storage.
