Sprint offering free ZTE Optik tablet, requires smartphone purchase and two two-year contracts

Sprint offering a free ZTE Optik tablet with purchase of any smartphone and two two-year contracts

Sprint has a deal running for new and existing customers, but it has a catch. Sprint is offering a new ZTE Optik tablet with any smartphone purchase, provided that you sign a two-year contract for the smartphone...and the tablet. That's right, this weekend's rumors turned out to be true now that Sprint has officially confirmed the deal.

The tablet that Sprint is offering features a 1.2GHz processor and 16GB of storage packed behind a 7-inch screen. It's not the greatest tablet ever unleashed onto the world, but, for the price, can't be faulted. The tablet must be purchased in the same transaction as the smartphone in order to receive the discount.

Sprint hasn't said how long this deal is going to last, so if you've been thinking about jumping ship to Sprint, or getting an upgrade, now may just be the time to do it, provided you want to get a tablet and a second bill.
