Rumor: iPhone 5 phone smuggled out of factory, Apple can't be one bit happy with Foxconn
| Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Jul 27, 2012 6:31 pm

Reports have surfaced that an Apple iPhone 5 has been smuggled out of the factory. Included in those reports are purported pictures of the device. If this is truly an iPhone 5, then Foxconn is seriously not doing its job of protecting Apple's upcoming device from prying eyes.

This isn't the first time that we've seen supposed leaks of the iPhone 5 nature, but this is certainly the first time that we have seen the full device. It seems as though Apple's security measures are slipping as Apple experienced these same issues with the last iPhone produced.

The device looks strikingly similar to the device in previous predictive renders and it could just be another render. Furthermore, it could be a non-working dummy phone that is designed to be used by accessory manufacturers for design and verification.
