Western Digital Caviar WD2000JB Review

| Posted: Oct 12, 2002 3:20 pm

You want one of Western Digital's "JB" Caviar hard drives but 120GB is not enough?
What?! Are you insane? Apparently not as Tom's Hardware has just reviewed Western Digital's new Caviar WD2000JB with a 200GB capacity (cough) and still with that 8MB cache.

With the WD2000JB, Western Digital offers the largest IDE drive to date: 200 GB is quite a lot. So is its $399 price tag. Currently, for this sum, you can buy two 120 GB hard drives. The question is: is the WD2000 still worth the price?
