Nintendo announce new $199 3DS XL, sports 4.88-inch top screen, available August 19th
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AANintendo have just announced the latest member in their 3DS family, 3DS LL. Nintendo head Satoru Iwata revealed the 3DS LL on Nintendo Direct, where it sports a 4.88-inch top screen and 4.18-inch bottom screen.
The new hardware adds just over an inch to the current 3DS' display, and includes a 4GB SD card, too. The new 3DS LL features just a single thumbpad on the console's port side. Japanese gamers will be able to scoop up the 3DS LL in white, two-tone red/black or silver/white on July 28th for ¥18,900 (about $235).
Across the pond in the US, it will be rebranded the 3DS XL and will arrive on August 19th for around $200.
