Sapphire shows off Vapor-X HD7970 with no less than 6GB of onboard memory

Computex 2012 - Not only did Sapphire have a wicked five screen Dirt 3 demo system up and running, but they also showed one of the world's first video cards with 6GB of onboard memory.

The video card in question is the Vapor-X HD7970 - it's similar in designs and specs to the regular Vapor-X HD7970, except it comes with a massive 6GB of memory. Some people may argue that 6GB would go wasted on a video card as most games and applications don't use that amount of video memory. Keep in mind though if you want to power something like a five or more screen gaming PC, it will start to come into to use when you begin running extremely high resolutions.

At this stage we don't have any details on price, but it should be going on sale later this month if everything goes to plan over at the Sapphire camp.
