AMD to announce XP 2700+/2800+ on October 1?

According to The Inquirer, AMD is set to announce the Thoroughbread core based 2700 and 2800+ Athlon XP's, which are said to support the new 333MHz FSB.

 

Seeing as AMD doesnt actually have any XP2400/2600+'s in retail channels right now, i wonder if we will be able to buy the new CPU's before Christmas.
