HBO Go and MAX Go arrive on Android devices, just not tablets

HBO have just released Android versions of their HBO Go and MAX Go apps, which let Android-powered users stream content from the two premium channels, wherever they are, as long as you already have a cable subscription to the two premium channels.

First up, the HBO Go app provides access to 1,400 HBO shows, including the channel's original programming, as well as a slew of movies across plenty of genres. The MAX Go app provides access to 400 movies, and the entire range of Cinemax's original programming.

HBO have been on a roll lately, with their iOS app bringing in three million downloads in just two months. Both of the HBO apps are available for free in Google's Play app store.
