NVIDIA, not content with the performance of the GTX 680, has decided to bake two GK104s together in the form of the GTX 690. The GTX 690 provides near the same performance as two GTX 680s SLI'd together while reducing power consumption and noise. It comes at a hefty price, however, of $999 MSRP.

Reviewers of the new 28nm GPU were given only 3 days to review this beast of a card, so many put in long hours putting it through its paces. What they found is that this card is a beast.
