I saw a news post at TechSpot which supposedly tells us how to fix IBM hard disk drives from the click-of-death errors which users around the world have been experiencing for the past year or so. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but...is this not the stupidest tip you've ever heard?

 

Gently slam the harddrive against something hard, this will cause the read/write head to move into the correct position and your harddrive might now function, I just verified this with an old dead IBM 60GXP harddrive I had lying around...
Obviously take this with a grain of salt.
