The update that has arrived today for the Samsung Galaxy SII phone in the United States had already been out in South Korea for sometime. Now today, we finally get an update to Ice Cream Sandwich, well, Galaxy SII phone owners do. I'm still on one of those Galaxy SI phones and I haven't seen an update past 2.3.4.

One of our friends over at Engadget was super excited when he woke up and found the screen seen above on his Galaxy SII. The update is for unlocked Galaxy SII phones only, meaning your phone needs to be an unlocked, non-carrier specific phone. But, you might as well check your settings for an update even if you don't have one of those.
