Boeing to launch super secure Android phone, hopes it takes off
Apparently it's not enough for Boeing to make planes, helicopters, and satellites because they have now announced they will be moving into an additional market. Yes, that's right, Boeing is planning on making an Android-based cell phone. Reports are circulating that Boeing is currently working a super-secure Android-based smartphone.

Boeing President Roger Krone declined to go into specifics when it came to the device's hardware or release date. It is, however, nearing the end of its development cycle the CEO notes. It would appear that the device has been in the works for a while now, so it's doubtful that the hardware is competitive. Don't expect anything past Gingerbread or Froyo.
I'm assuming you have already guessed that this phone won't exactly be available at your local electronics shop. Most of their competitors charge a five-figure amount for their secure phones. Boeing plans to release this phone at a much lower price which should make the government accountants happy.
