Google+ grows 27% in March, enjoyed visits from 61 million users

Google saw 61 million visits to their social networking site Google+, which is a 27-percent month-over-month increase from February to March. The results come from Experian Hitwise, where they provided chart (pictured below) showing the growth Google+ has enjoyed since June 2011.

This data comes after Google CEO Larry Page claimed in a state-of-Google blog post that Google now has 100 million active users, this is 10 million more than the figure he shared with analysts in January. But, what defines the word "active", to Google?

According to some comScore data, users spent just 3.3 minutes on Google+, compared to 7.5 hours on Facebook. Quite the difference. Google asserted that 50 million users access "Google+-enhanced" products daily, and that 100 million do so once per month. Google+-enhanced includes YouTube, Google Play and google.com.
