Razer confirms there'll be a left-handed Naga mouse

By: (more) | Peripherals News | Posted: Apr 5, 2012 7:21 am

Razer have announced their intentions to release a left-handed version of their popular MMO-built gaming mouse, the Razer Naga. We've already seen the gaming peripheral company release the Razer DeathAdder for left-handers, but most of their other products are mainly ambidextrous, or exclusively for right-handed gamers.

Razer chief executive and all-round cool guy Min-Liang Tan promised that the Naga would receive some left-handed magic, like the DeathAdder did, if the company received at least 10,000 'Likes' on Facebook before April 21, but to Razer's surprise, they exceeded the required 10,000 'Likes' before the end of March. The only problem with this? We probably won't see the left-handed Naga until early-2013.

When it does launch, left-handed gamers should expect the same specced device as we current see with the Naga: 17 buttons designed for MMORPGs, a 5,600dpi laser sensor and tracking speed of a claimed 200 inches per second. At the moment, we don't have a price on it, but we would expect it to be slightly higher than the right-handed Naga.
