Will Ferrell appeared in character as the super-amazing Ron Burgundy from Anchorman on Conan tonight, where he announced that Paramount has had a change of heart, and have agreed to make a sequel to one of the most quotable movies of all time: Anchorman.

Ron took the stage, playing the flute and took a few stabs at Conan saying how awful he looked, telling him to go to a plastic surgeon, to point to his face and say "this is a page 1 re-write". In full character, Will Ferrell is just amazing.

Anchorman 2 has now been announced, people, and has gone to my number 2 most wanted to see movie list under Superman: Man of Steel in 2013. Anchorman 2 is no longer stuck in a glass cage of emotion, and has now kicked back with a 30-year-old scotch and is sipping away until release.
