Two More Radeon 9700 Reports

By: (more) | Video Cards News | Posted: Sep 10, 2002 5:11 pm

Another 2 more article notifications have come through for Radeon 9700 video cards with Sudhian Media first in with their look at the ATI Radeon 9700.

Not long ago, we showed you information about the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card at an event I attended in San Francisco. When walking away from the event, it was clear to me that ATI had a winner on their hands - if they could follow up their promise to ship the boards. Radeon 9700 Pro cards have been shipping for a while now and you can own one for yourself as many stores are now getting cards up for sale. The real question is whether you should go out and spend your hard earned cash on this card which will cost you from $360-$400, depending on what kind of deal you can find.

Next up comes t-break with their look at a sales sample Hercules 3D Prophet 9700 PRO.

Just last week, we took a look at our first Radeon 9700 graphics card- the Creative 3D Blaster 5 RX9700. Today, we have another one in our labs- this one comes from Hercules and is called 3D Prophet 9700 PRO. This is however, not the final version of the card- its a sales sample that the local Hercules distributor passed on to us. We shall be doing a full blown review of the retail card later on but for now, lets take a first look on what to expect from the upcoming Hercules Radeon 9700 PRO.
