Most people can't tell the difference between the new iPad and the iPad 2

Our unboxing video preview of the new iPad should be up shortly, and the full review should be up in the next week or so - with the below news something I totally agree with. You really can't tell the difference between the new iPad, and the iPad 2.

The Next Web have done this, where they actually set up a test with the new iPad and the iPad 2 set up side-by-side. Could anyone tell a difference between the near-identical iPads? Let's see:

Spoilers ahead! Virtually every single person guessed that the iPad 2 was the new iPad. Wow. Am I surprised? After my initial impressions/unboxing video - you'll see that my impressions were the same. Apple's marketing is just so powerful, they can pull this off and no one is going to really care. People will line up, buy the new iPad, and be happy.

Can they tell the difference between the screen? Probably not, but as long as they are happy with their purchase, that's all that matters.
