Over twelve months ago, Channel Ten released an iPhone app where it allowed you to check out its program guide and watch video from the device for some shows.

Enter the new Android-based app, where it's a Samsung-exclusive. I've noticed myself that Channel Ten ads have been saying "Ten looks better on Samsung," where I presumed we'd see a new TV with some Channel Ten-exclusive content for Samsung-based products, well, I was wrong.

This means that other popular Android-based smartphone makers are locked out, such as LG and HTC. The new Channel Ten app is free and runs on any Samsung device with Android 2.1 or later.
