BitTorrent shows off "Share" technology for easy sharing from apps at CES

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Jan 17, 2012 3:33 am

CES 2012 - In our second video from the BitTorrent suite at the Hilton hotel at CES last week, Brad from BitTorrent gave us a demo of its "Share" technology.

This tech allows you to use either an Android or iOS app when logged into your BitTorrent client account and do things like record a video and send it back to your PC over 3G or Wi-Fi on your mobile device using the BitTorrent protocol. We saw it right before our eyes during our meeting and it was very impressive to say the least.

Once it's been downloaded back to your PC client using software like BitTorrentPlus, you can then instantly stream it your BT certified device in just a few seconds. It all happens that quickly and it is very easy to use.
