ASUS' Transformer Prime will be launching in Australia in January, with no price confirmed at the moment, it has been rumored to be at the $700 mark. When the Transformer Prime launches, it will be the first NVIDIA Tegra 3, quad-core SoC-packing tablet on the market. It's something special, and if you were looking at getting a tablet anytime soon, an iPad 2, Transformer, or even the great Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, I would wait until you lick some of the Ice Cream Sandwich on the Transformer Prime first.

The Prime's specs, in case you have forgotten, or just want a recap:

10.1-inch SuperIPS + display with Gorilla Glass

1.3GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 Processor with 12-core GPU

32GB or 64GB internal storage with microSD card slot

microHDMI port

8MP F2.4 rear shooter with continuous flash for video recording, 1.2MP front camera

8.33mm thin

586g (1.29 lbs.)

12 hour battery life playing 720p video, 18 hours with keyboard dock

Metallic spun finish

Android 3.2 - will be updated to Android 4.0 as soon as possible after release
