A total of seven new power supplies have just entered Thermaltake's frey, all coming in under their mainstream positioned Smart series. Three of the units are modular coming in wattages of 450, 550 and 650, while the other four non-modular units give wattage options of 430W, 530W, 630W and 730W.

The three modular units get 80Plus Bronze certification with up to 88% efficiency, whilst the non-modular models are 80Plus rated providing up to 86% efficiency. Features across the board in the new Smart series lineup include ATX 12V V2.3 compliance, active PFC, single 12V rail, whisper quiet 140mm fan and MTBF of over 100,000 hours.

Added protection is provided through the circuitry including over current, over voltage, under voltage, over power and short-circuiting.

Thermaltake has slapped a three-year warranty onto the Smart Series PSU line and the three modular units should be starting to hit stores anytime now, with the non-modular ones shipping in the not too distant future.
