Futuremark shatters pricing via Steam on Shattered Horizon

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Nov 3, 2011 4:23 pm

If you can't get Battlefield 3 running smoothly enough to enjoy it and are desperately saving some cash to get that rig upgraded, perhaps in the meantime you may like to take up Futuremark on its generous offer in providing its zero gravity FPS, Shattered Horizon for just $4.99 via Steam.

Beginning tomorrow (Friday 4th) through to Sunday the 6th, Futuremark is offering the game up for the aforementioned all-time low price, and even if you happen to miss picking it up then, it will remain at a permanently lower price of just $9.99 from Monday November 7th onwards, down from the current $19.99.

When we launched Shattered Horizon its high hardware requirements put it out of reach for some gamers. Today, Windows 7 is the most popular operating system in Steam's hardware survey and games like Battlefield 3 are raising the technical bar for PC games. We are happy to offer Shattered Horizon for an extra low price this weekend to give PC gamers the chance to enjoy its unique zero gravity combat.
