Thermaltake Rounded IDE & FDD Cables Review

Thermaltake Rounded IDE & FDD Cables Review news post from TweakTown's online news computing and technology content pages

Tweakers Australia has just posted a review of the Thermaltake rounded IDE and FDD cables.

Thermaltake has produced two different IDE versions, each varying in length to conform to case layout. Each cable is neatly packaged in a clear plastic container, and a colorful insert identifies each one. The orange colored package contains the longer version at 600mm, while the blue package contains the shorter 450mm version. Apart from their length, each cable is identical, boasting an internal tinned-copper mesh shielding to minimize Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI). This not only claims to do something useful, but the mesh also gives the cable a unique silver appearance.
