Hands-on with SteelSeries Diablo III mouse and pad at BlizzCon 2011

By: (more) | Peripherals News | Posted: Oct 21, 2011 11:46 pm

BlizzCon 2011 - SteelSeries were another of the sponsors at BlizzCon 2011 and of course being all about Blizzard games, they had plenty of their gaming hardware on display for the masses to see including their upcoming Diablo III mouse and pad. We went hands-on with it in the video below.

The ambidextrous shape allows for both left-handed and right-handed gamers to use the swish looking D3 branded mouse. It comes with demon red illumination which can be turned off if you don't like it as well as adjust the pulsation rate between high, medium and low.

The mouse uses a Avago laser sensor which can be adjusted from 1 CPI to 5700 CPI in 1 CPI increments. That's an incredible amount of adjustment flexibility to find your sweet spot for your D3 game play. We are not sure on the cost or when it will go on sale, but we'd guess it would be around when Diablo III goes on sale.
