Suiting up in advance for Intel's Sandy Bridge E platform, Corsair has become the first in the memory industry to announce a quad channel memory kit to make full use of the next-gen platforms quad channel memory subsystem.

Corsair has delivered a high-end enthusiast oriented kit under its popular Dominator series, sporting those lovely DHX+ heatsinks in a red & black color scheme.

The kit (part number: CMT32GX3M4X1866C9) comprises four 8GB modules, making up a total of 32GB RAM. The modules themselves are rated for 1866MHz with timings of 9-10-9-27 C9, requiring a voltage of only 1.5V. The modules will of course also work in current dual channel platforms w/ four DIMM slots, albeit only in dual channel mode of course.

The kit becomes available worldwide sometime this month at a hefty price tag of $999 USD.
