SlingPlayer app now available for Android Honeycomb tablets

SlingPlayer makes its debut on Android tablets, Honeycomb supported

| Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Oct 12, 2011 9:27 am

Sling Media have just released a dedicated SlingPlayer app for Android 3.x tablets that has just hit the Android Market. A mobile phone version has been available for a while now but could only be used in compatibility mode, where picture quality suffered. Sling Media charge the same price as the iPad version, $29.99. If you had purchased the smartphone version, this is another $29.99 you'll have to spend.

The tablet version sports improved video quality and a new program guide that makes it a breeze to browse content while still watching TV. There's also a new remote interface that provides even easier control over programming. Grab it here if you're a fan of the Sling.
