Facebook for iPad is finally here!

Facebook finally release app for iPad!

| Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Oct 10, 2011 10:33 pm

After rumors, a circus, various teases and costume changes, Facebook for iPad is finally here. Now people can throw away their previous non-official apps, third-party apps or non-touch friendly website and get their fingers tapping the sweet dance floor of the new Facebook for iPad. The app seems like the one that has been floating around with pictures over the last few months, with a left-hand column for simple navigation of the News Feed.

Photos, Messages, Groups, Apps, Settings, Chat and more are also in the left-hand column. Facebook Photos on the iPad look great as they have the ability to go full screen and can also be zoomed in and swiped with the touch of a finger. But, the most exciting thing that my mother-in-law will love about the Facebook for iPad app will be that Facebook games can be played in full screen! She will be chuffed with that news.

Finally, we have AirPlay for Facebook videos supported with Facebook for iPad. You can grab the app here.
