PS3 gamers get early access to Battlefield 3 expansions

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Sep 23, 2011 3:00 am

The PlayStation.Blog has received some interesting news from Timmy Rydling of DICE, that beginning with the first expansion pack for Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand and all other full-blown upcoming expansion packs for BF3 will appear one week early exclusively on the PS3. This is a shock of a move, considering DICE have been pumping that the PC is the lead development platform. But, the console users have to get some form of exclusivity. The 360 had it's exclusive piece of the pie by having Microsoft delay the Beta for BF3 because of the launch of Gears of War 3.
