Enermax launches PLATIMAX 80 Plus Platinum certified PSU series

Enermax has graced its range of power supplies with a new, high end lineup dubbed the PLATIMAX; their way of indicating that these new high quality units boast 80 Plus Platinum certification with an efficiency of up to 94%.

The new series include five models at 600W, 750W, 850W, 1000W and topping out at 1200W. They all sport 105°C Japanese electrolytic capacitors, a Copper-Bridge transmission array, extreme density transformer, multiple (4 or 6, depending on the model) 12V rails, modular cabling and a 13.9cm Twister-bearing fan.

A number of other technologies have been added including SafeGuard multiple protection circuits, HeatGuard technology which allows the fan to keep spinning for up to 60 seconds post shutdown to cool off the components properly and also has a "CordGuard" power cord fixing solution.

 

As for pricing, the 600W will set you back $179, 750W $209, 850W $249, 1000W $279 and 1200W costing $329.
