The crew over at Engadget have been reporting live from IFA in Berlin which kicked into full swing today and share with us some hands-on time with a new slim and sexy Ultrabook offering from Acer on the horizon, the 13mm-thin, 13.3-inch sized Aspire S3.

Acer made promise of some pretty impressive specs and features during the press conference including seven hours of battery life, just 1.5 seconds to resume out of sleep mode, 2 seconds to connect to WiFi and solid performance thanks to the range of low voltage Core i3, i5 or i7 processors to choose from.

As mentioned, in efforts to compare their views to all the press hype, Engadget got some much anticipated hands-on time with the Aspire S3 which you can watch via the source link below. Further down the page you will also spot a second streaming video that focuses on Acer's claims of super fast resume from sleep (albeit slightly exaggerated).
