Samsung passes on MeeGo with new N102 netbook

Back to Windows 7 we go - Sighted for purchase in Russia

Following the recent launch of Samsung's MeeGo running N100 netbook, stores are still awaiting to receive stock. Meanwhile, Samsung has just outed a slightly updated model in the N102, running the more widely accepted Windows 7 (Starter Edition).

Weighing in at just a fraction over 1Kg, the 10.1-inch netbook uses a typical 1024x600 resolution display, 1.33GHz Atom N435 CPU, 1GB of DDR3, 250GB HDD, and GMA 3150 IGP. Other features include 10/100 LAN, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 1.3MP webcam, 4-in-1 card reader and a 3-cell battery.

 

The Samsung N102 is actually already available, providing you're in Russia that is (no word on when it'll hit the U.S. yet). Pricing works out to about $320 USD.
